Slowly Moving With a Burden Bent
In this installation and participatory performance the artist's body carries conversational prompts in an exaggerated backpack, stopping to rest, using the Annex as a home. Activations invite others to gather to cross stitch text and enter into a graceful dialogue using a score held by three gestures: Tearing, Twisting and Anchoring a length of fiber.

Annex activations will take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays
August 20 through September 24 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
